The faces look familliar?
If you've seen Serial Experiments Lain or Niea_7, you'll recognise the character
designs of Yoshitoshi Abe... beautiful aren't they? Based on a doujin, this anime will span 13 episodes.

The story is understated-mysterious...
how come there's only girls in the old home? Why do they all have wings and halos? (Are
they already dead? - a possibility since nobody remembers their past or anybody
else) Why are they born from cocoons? What significance do their dreams
have?
All in all a lot of questions waiting to be answered... Like what significance
the wall around the city has, why the people of the town revere the Haibane
like good-luck charms, why the Toga do not speak, the "danger" that lurks
in the forest, and the relationship between Rakka and the crows,
Still, for the time it's already enough to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere
and landscapes and environments in this anime - a peaceful countryside
home, far away from everything.
